U only have to look at how good he played against Man City in the UCL 2 competitions ago in the semi Final & in the UCL Final against Liverpool where he was Man of the Match he played that good! I’m a Liverpool fan & I remember that Final like it was yesterday, we Lost 0-1, BUT out played them completely according to ALL the Stats, more possession, more shots & more shots on target – were the most important ones. YES they did score 1 goal to beat us fair n’ square BUT there goal keeper Courtois was the main reason they actually Won the game(No Cap) The saves he made in that game to deny our Forwards were “WORLD CLASS!” This is no exaggeration he was simply amazing, he was like a “CAT!” diving, jumping all over the place, I couldn’t believe it, as he is one of the shortest GK’s in the World, BUT EVERY shot we hit at him/his goal he either pounced straight on it OR produced some extraordinary/phenomenal diving/acrobatic save at full stretch, which kept Real in the game! Then once they managed to score through Vinicius Jr,(Poor defending by us I have to add) then they played really, really well at dropping back defensively & we’re good at shutting all our attacks down. They dropped back really, really deep and hung on well to see out the game & victory! BUT make no mistake Courtois had the most possession that night!🥅🤣. He was so amazing the saves he made – NO average Joe GK wudda bin adle to save all the shots he saved-Not a chance!!! Courtois basically Won Real Madrid that UCL Final!!! No Cap LOL!!!😂 BUT without sounding bias like the lady in the video does with her 6 Man City players in the World IX team & wanting another in there with Ederson between the sticks! LOL & that’s what I disagree with majorly – I believe Allison or Courtois should be between the sticks for The World IX Team Or even Oblak before Ederson!💯🥅👐
